GBK/noodleStream and Entereza awarded a 2-year TSA HAZMAT Security Training Contrac |
noodleStream.com™ to Launch the NS Learning Management Platform (LMP) Beta v2.0 |
||
noodleStream.com, a subsidiary of the GBK Partnership, is planning their software launch for March 2008. Their new Learning Management Platform, an extension of the currently used LMS, is set to revolutionize safety training and e-learning. The software, code named Vegas, will support Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and MS SQL Server 2005, and will also be SCORM compliant. Having already successfully launched many custom versions of this .NET based e-learning software, the noodleTeam has set out to create a system of safety training that can be tailored to each position in a company using pre-existing self contained learning objectives. This will give any size company the low cost of “off the shelf” training, with all the benefits of fully customized safety courses! |
GBK/noodleStream, in conjunction with Entereza, will develop a HAZMAT Security Training program for the Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA). GBK/noodleStream and Entereza will develop online and classroom training, as well as training for instructors and a DVD featuring real-life scenarios. The project will initially be deployed in 10 cities in the U.S. to approximately 1,000 transportation industry personnel. The training program will then become available to commercial transportation companies for their internal use. |
noodleStream VP of Product Development, Trent McElroy reports that the development team is on-track with version 2.0. The new Learning Management Platform will incorporate competency management, enhanced web-services, graphic dashboards, and even an offline portal. A beta of the v2.0 is expected to be released in Q3 of this year. |

In April, the noodleStream team completed it's project with the Installation Management Command – European Division (IMCOM-Eur) by designing and deploying a series of training modules designed to assist US Army environmental compliance officers and host-nation environmental managers. The training content replaces a 40-hour conventional training requirement that is based on the unique national environmental requirements for the respective countries. The training was deployed in the English, German, and Italian languages. |
